Title:        Executive Assistant

Location:    Washington, DC

A boutique Capitol Hill lobbying firm with a primary focus on the food, agriculture, and finance industries and association management is looking to hire a responsible, proactive, detail-oriented individual for an Executive Assistant position.  This position provides both administrative and program support for the firm’s principal.

Responsibilities:

•    Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments.
•    Researching and arranging travel.
•    Acting as a first point of contact with the Executive, including email correspondence and phone calls.
•    Implementing and maintaining organization of the Executive’s workspace.
•    Managing multiple administrative priorities, including phone calls, incoming email and often drafting correspondence on behalf of the Executive.
•    Carrying out background research and presenting findings.
•    Delegating issues and correspondence to others in the Executive's absence.
•    Managing Executive’s priorities, important tasks and deadlines.
•    Other special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

•    Three to five years of related administrative experience.
•    Exceptional organizational and strategy skills.
•    Ability to learn and work independently and proactively.
•    Strong attention to detail.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•    A positive yet professional attitude.
•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•    College degree required.
•    Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word Press, and social media sites).
