President Trump on Friday slammed North Korea and China in a morning tweet, saying North Korea has been “playing” the U.S. for years and China isn’t doing enough to help.

“North Korea is behaving very badly. They have been ‘playing’ the United States for years. China has done little to help!” Trump tweeted.

Earlier today the North Korean Embassy in Beijing held a news conference to blame a potential nuclear war on the United States.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson earlier Friday said U.S. military force is an option for dealing with North Korea’s pursuit of missile and nuclear weapons, warning "the policy of strategic patience" is over.

Tillerson, who spoke from South Korea, is also visiting China and Japan as part of his first major trip to Asia representing the Trump administration.

Asia is on edge following North Korea test-firing four missiles into the Sea of Japan last week, a move seen as a clear provocation of Japan and South Korea.

Tillerson said the U.S. does not want military conflict but further missile threats “would be met with an appropriate response.”
