“I’m being really serious,” she said Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe." "[There is] maybe even some … parts missing.
“There is no humility,” Brzezinski added. "He has no curiosity. He doesn’t even want to know about the issues of attempt to even grasp them.
Trump earlier Friday tweeted that the “fake media” is displeased following his headline-making press conference the day before.
“Thank you for all the nice statements on the press conference yesterday,” he wrote. "Rush Limbaugh said one of greatest ever. Fake media not happy!”
Trump denounced news reports about turmoil in his administration during a sprawling and sometimes bruising event Thursday.
“I turn on the TV, open the newspapers and see stories of chaos,” he said at the White House. "Chaos. Yet it is the exact opposite. This administration is running like a fine-tuned machine."
“Many of our nation’s reporters and folks will not tell you the truth and not treat you with the respect you deserve,” Trump added.
“The press has become so dishonest that if we don’t talk about it, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people. The press is out of control, the level of dishonesty is out of control.”
The Trump administration has experienced one of its toughest weeks yet, with national security adviser Michael Flynn resigning Monday amid controversy over his ties to Russia.
Andrew Puzder, Trump’s former Labor secretary nominee, then withdrew his candidacy following objections from Republican senators.
Limbaugh said during Thursday’s broadcast of his radio program that he enjoyed seeing Trump fighting back against negative media coverage.
“Just what the doctor ordered. This is Donald Trump going over the head of the media right to the American people, advancing his domestic agenda and being totally transparent with these people."
