HAPPENING THIS A.M. -- YOU CAN'T SAY 'EGG' AND 'ROLL' IN THE SAME PHRASE WITHOUT MAKING ME CRAVE CHINESE FOOD: President Trump participated in the White House Easter Egg Roll this morning on the South Lawn of the White House. Live coverage: http://bit.ly/2pqn93w
Interesting tidbit -- started from the bottom, now he's here: White House press secretary Sean Spicer once played the White House Easter Bunny during the George W. Bush administration. Photo evidence -- there's no way you're not curious what that looked like: http://bit.ly/2pIUqDF
Trump's message: "'We're right on track. You see what's happening,' President Trump tells a crowd of children while standing with the Easter Bunny." http://bit.ly/2oG5i7j
This. Is. So. Awkward.: "A kid asks Trump to sign his hat at the White House Easter Egg Roll. The president signs ... and then tosses the hat into the crowd." Watch: http://bit.ly/2pa9UnI

GUYS, SOMEONE SHOULD TELL UNITED AIRLINES THE 'ALL PRESS IS GOOD PRESS' EXPRESSION IS A JOKING ONE-LINER, NOT A WAY OF LIFE: Via KHOU-TV Houston, a bride and groom -- traveling to their wedding -- were kicked off a half-empty United Airlines flight Saturday. Back story: The couple say they were the last to board the United flight and noticed a man spread across their seats napping. The plane was pretty empty, so they moved up three rows to an empty row. What they didn't know: "United considers Row 21 'economy plus,' which is an upgrade." Uh oh.
United's reaction: United Airlines said in a statement that the couple tried to sit in an upgraded seat "repeatedly" and they "wouldn't follow crew instructions." http://usat.ly/2omwSDq
TODAY IN TRUMP TWEETS -- HAPPY EASTER, Y'ALL: President Trump spent the Monday after Easter slamming a favorite target: the media. "The Fake Media (not Real Media) has gotten even worse since the election. Every story is badly slanted. We have to hold them to the truth!" he tweeted. Earlier this morning: Trump hit the media over how it had covered a recent House special election in Kansas, where Republican Rob Estes defeated Democrat James Thompson by 7 points. Context: The previous incumbent, now-CIA Director Mike Pompeo, had won his most recent race in the conservative-leaning district by more than 30 points. http://bit.ly/2oDxjux

LOOOVE, PRESIDENT TRUMP: Trump also poked at Democrats on Twitter by touting a book titled "Reasons to Vote for Democrats," which features about 260 blank pages. "A great book for your reading enjoyment: 'REASONS TO VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS' by Michael J. Knowles." http://bit.ly/2nUQmUl
THIS IS IMPORTANT -- ALL THE OBAMA CH, CH, CHANGES: Attorney General Jeff Sessions has brought sweeping change to the Department of Justice. What he's done so far: Rolled back protections for transgender students, called for a review of reform agreements with local police departments and made immigration enforcement a top priority, including putting "sanctuary cities" on notice. What these changes mean: http://bit.ly/2oOYsgw

OK, FINE. WE ADMIT THAT WE MAY BE STARTING TO 'FEEL [A MODERATE] BERN': Via The Hill's Amie Parnes, Democrats who were reluctant to support Sen. Bernie Sanders's (I-Vt.) movement are coming around to him. Why: Sanders has become a powerful and welcome voice for a party struggling to find its identity after a devastating defeat in 2016. http://bit.ly/2pIPVce
ANNOUNCED THIS MORNING -- ANOTHER TRUMP PICK: President Trump is slated to pick a former top U.S. Treasury official to serve as the Federal Reserve's vice chairman of supervision. Who: Randal Quarles, who served as the Department of Treasury's undersecretary for domestic finance during the George W. Bush administration. What to know about the position: The position was created by the Dodd-Frank financial reform law but was not filled during the Obama administration. http://bit.ly/2oOZxop
